On arrival, the display panel worked, but the unit did not heat. I also thought that the top did not fit tightly, but the customer service rep whom I called to discuss the DOA said that as long as the top clicked into place, which it did, that the unit would seal properly. I decided not to reorder this product and will try one from a different manufacturer. Incidentally, the packaging indicated that the product arrived directly from China at the Nesco warehouse, was sent from there to Amazon, and was not tested before reshipment to me.

This versatile, multi-functional stainless steel digital 6-quart pressure cooker performs several functions: pressure cooker, slow cook (up to 9-1/2 hours) or steam, brown and warm. Use to make roasts, ribs or chicken, as-well-as rice dishes, soup/stews and steamed vegetables. LED display and soft touch buttons for easy use and programmable with presets including a delayed start up to 8 hours. Pressure cooking with the Nesco will cut cooking time by up to 70-percent. Automatically switches to warm setting after cooking cycle is complete. Comes with self-locking lid with automatic pressure release valve.
